i've been trying to figure out how to replace the "hit the ropes" animation for some barbed wire rope match fun, and i thought regular ol move hacking would not be the best route. is flat out animation replacement possible? i'd want a hack to look like this
when X match type is chosen
if player...
wowowowow, sorry if i missed something, but do you literally replace the grapple animation with those animations? that is amazing. the move variation thing is also amazing. so much of what you're doing stands out on its own, the fact that it's all coming together in a compilation save with a...
this all sounds amazing. i'd love to play, for example, jeff hardy vs rvd in a ladder match and actually see the cpu use the ladder more like their real life counterpart might. you're really taking things to the next level. you know this already, though.
i'm no modder, but! would it be possible to make them fall, slowly stand up, then stay dazed? that might look better, imo, if it's possible. it would also give an opportunity to taunt before the dive.
wow, so, it can be done for all kinds of moves? grapples, strikes, and running grapples? that would add a ton of versatility to a wrestler's moveset. would multiple specials be a thing? even if they're just slight variations of one move that'd be cool as hell.
yanno it's funny, i was playing sd64 and wondering if this move stacking thing would be possible. having the same couple of moves gets kind of old sometimes. turns out you're way ahead of me on that idea - not that i could do what you're doing. i really like your approach with making the move...
this would amazing. royal rumbles feel so silly in vanilla and showdown. really being able to act out what a real rumble would look like would be awesommmmeeee. i feel like that in and of itself would be mod worthy. just a fully fleshed out royal rumble system. can't wait for this, ahhhhh!
yeah, i have. it's kind of random. what i do is, i save right before i'm going to try the move then if it crashes, load that save. one time i was playing as the road warriors, went to do their finish, and woops, game crashed!

But really, it's a hack. Same as everything else you don't find in vanilla No Mercy.
right, but, i don't recall there being an option for 30 men in SD64? am i mistaken or is it a...
how did you get it to be 30 men? i thought you could only do multiples of 4? apologies if i'm just flat out wrong, i would check but i don't have SD64 installed right now, i'm running vanilla no mercy.
oh man. that all looks amazing. the ppv feature is exciting. for the cage match, does no escape mean that escaping the cage doesn't win you the match? or just that you can't climb?
i don't want to bring unwanted attention to the project either, though. maybe we could just help you buy some good screencapping software and time to make little videos about how the project is moving along.
