I think I've broken down everything about animations. Doing so, I've managed to combine 3 different animation frames together to get this. I've only done 1 frame so far. A quick attempt at an AJ Styles entry way taunt.

Do you mean that we might be able to make our own animations instead of hacking moves ? That would be great :jew:

I see this as a more advanced move hacking, the evolution of it if you will, because the concept seems to be the same except you need to create what the animations do, frame by frame, right?

Yup, exactly that. But the good thing is you'll be able to see the changes in real time instead of editing the ROM and loading it after changing a value. It will save a lot of time.

I meant creating the animation with another program and get them to work in NM but still, seeing the changesin real time will be great and make it easier to understand how to create moves.

This is the shot in the arm I needed to start working on NM, again.
So frame by frame we'll be able to manipulate each body part? Each individual arm/hand/leg/ect?

Yep, each individual body part. This means brand new fluid animations. Eat my shorts 2K

And not just for moves, correct? Taunst, entrance way taunst, default animations and all that will be able to be manipulated?

Wow, that's incredible.
There are lots of people that are capable of animating but gets a headache as soon as there's code, memory adresses and etc.. involved.

So the possibility to animate something without the headaches could trigger the interest of some animation specialists that never really looked at No Mercy before.

There are plenty of programs (Blender :B-) ) that have good animating tools, maybe then there could be some ways to export animations in a format that could then end being used in a No Mercy moveset mod ?

@Keson. Every animation can be manipulated.

@Fiz Well, as mentioned before, this has been created in Excel and you will be able to change each body part from within the tool and see the changes. Then you can copy the modified values into the ROM with a hex editor and bam, brand new animation in the game. No need to convert into different format.

Could this make it possible to create all new moves for Revenge as well? That would be extremely awesome!

All the animations can be used in any game.

Also, for No Mercy, I have something big planned in regards to arenas.

If this arrives before Christmas, Imma be a happy, happy man.

Will the excel tool, will it create a new animation value? We'll no longer be sacrificing in-game animations?
