As noted, the former La Sombra made his WWE NXT live event debut back on January 8th in Tampa. He defeated Riddick Moss, using a version of his real name - Manny Andrade.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there is a very different reaction to Andrade, a former CMLL star, debuting in WWE than there was when another former CMLL star, the original Sin Cara, started with the company. Many CMLL wrestlers sent congratulatory messages to Manny and everyone is hoping he finds success in WWE while most didn't seem to care if the original Sin Cara succeeded or not.
Andrade is liked a lot more but there's hope that if he does well in WWE, then that will lead to the company bringing in more Mexican wrestlers who are good in the ring. From the WWE side of things, Andrade has been working hard on his English, something the original Cara never did.[/quote]
