Better KOs

One problem with KOs is that CPU opponents often pick you up before you're officially KOed. While I had found a code that attempted to fix this problem by causing the match to end as soon as the KO blow happens (I think it was part of this UFC hack), the problem there is that that's not realistic. In real life, a referee would never declare a knockout the instant a guy gets hit.

With this code, the match ends around the time the KOed wrestler hits the mat. This works for players 1-4 and can be left on at all times. It is only activated if KOs are turned on.

I have tested this for several moves, including both strikes and grapples, and it seems to be pretty good.

Here's an outline of the code, just looking at the first 10 lines (which are for player 1):
D115AEC6 002E - If player 1 is being KOed (broad action)
D115AF32 0001 - and player 1 is in the ring
D115AF52 0010 - and player 1 is just above the mat
D00931DD 0000 - and KOs are on
8015AF44 0002 - Then the match ends in a KO

D115AEC6 002E - If player 1 is being KOed (broad action)

Sweet, I'll be sure to try this one out. But I thought the ref didn't declare a KO in this game until after the guy hit the mat and then tried to get up a few times and couldn't?

Yeah, that's how it normally works, but what often happens is that a CPU opponent will pick someone up who's on the ground struggling to get up, and it disrupts the KO sequence so that the match just continues without the ref ever declaring a KO. I made this code to keep that from happening.

Would it be possible to make it so that if the opponent is on the ground and struggling to get up (like in a KO), then the other player cant pick him up? I always thought that's how a last man standing match would look in no mercy (plus a 10 count like in the ring count out occuring while the player tries to get up - basically the boxing match rules from vpw2)

I imagine that would be possible. I don't know how to do that, though.

Ok, sorry for the noob question .... but I am new to the hacks section wether it be moves, match hacks, etc .... can someone please give me a brief tutorial on how to apply these codes and where to apply them etc? It would be greatly appreciated ...... I will probably copy and paste this message in the different hack sections so ignore if you have already replied in one section lol
