Can't send PMs, or view profiles?

Hi guys / admins

I'm trying to commission some AKI-Style artwork, and want to reach out to some members here via PM.

I've managed to do this before, but recently the site won't let me.
When I view profiles or try and hit send on the message I've written, it says I don't have permission.

Is the site broken, or is there a new-ish n00b filter that is catching me?

I'm not up to anything scammy here, just trying to reach out to some talent folks and offer them some work on a upcoming indie game.

I've been having the exact same problem, I thought it was just a problem with my account.

Now I'll be honest, I created another account to see if I could view accounts on my new one and I couldn't. Sorry I broke the rules but it was just for that, I wasn't trying to cause trouble.
So, is there a fix?
