As noted, WWE ran its final event at the IZOD Center in New Jersey on January 24, as the venue will soon be closing his doors.
WWE aired a historical video package during the show, which featured Ron Simmons, The New Age Outlaws, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash sharing some of their memories and talking about their history in the venue.
The final match to ever be held in the venue saw John Cena defeat Seth Rollins in a steel cage match.
Cena and Bad News Barrett commented on the closing of the IZOD Center by posting the following on Twitter:
@JohnCena: "For the last time tonight, #WWELive performs at the @IzodCenter. Thank you to the fans that made each event here one of a kind. #NeverGiveUp"
