Hello this is UNDERTAKER77 with a tutorial on how to hack the small ssfds
ikw4.png

Tools you are gonna need -
X-pert tool
X-packer
Valid file adder
HxD (hex editor)

Lets start !

1.you need to extract the menu.pac from your ISO svr 2011 PSP
g353.png

2.Then open xpert tool and select the Dpac
geu9.png

3.Now in xpert tool select the menu.pac

4.Extract the LBA first and then Extract the files

5.After extracting you will get a @MENU folder in the desktop

(Inside are all the files)

6.Now open the @MENU folder and open and you will see another "menu" folder , open it !

7.Scroll down and drag and drop the "SSFD.pac" file in your desktop

8.After you do that , delete the menu.pac @MENU folder and also the extracted LBA txt files!

9.Now you will have your SSFD.pac

10.Open it as a Wrestler Archive in X-packer

and you will see "00"... Uncompress it

and open the 00.pac obtained as a texture archive
you will get an error but no need to worry about that!
11. Now extract all in 1 folder and edit it

NOTE : DO NOT RENAME THE SMALL PICS

12.Now convert them using gim converter

and rename the gims to pacs using extention changer

13.Now 1 by 1 start injecting

NOTE 2 : DO NOT CREATE A TEXTURE ARCHIVE ! JUST INJECT THE FILES 1 BY 1 , and everytime you will get an error by x-packer but again dont worry !

after doing all you will open the SSFD.pac as a wrestler pac again in x-packer

14.now inject the 00.pac in it and you will have your modified ssfd

15.Now open your SvR 2011 PSP Iso in umdgen and extract the menu.pac and the plistpsp.arc

16.now you need to Open Valid File Adder by Arjun the Man !

17.Now you need to open the menu in the valid file adder as orignal file and it will say bakup successful!

18.Now open the file 2 copy as your modified SSFD.pac

19.Now click generate new file it will calculate the xx and yy

20.Open the menu.pac in hex editor and search for "SSFD"

21.Copy the xx and paste it in the 2 byte after the SSFD

22.Now copy the yy and paste it after the xx

then copy the 4 bytes and save the menu.pac
now menu.pac is ready but not the plistpsp.arc

23.open plistpsp.arc in the hex editor and search for SSFD again

now you need to again replace the 4 bytes after SSFD

then save it and replace it in the umdgen and save it as an ISO

Thats all !

Credits again : :hi

Tekken for x-packer
Arjun the man for Valid file adder
and sorry I dont know who made the other tools sorry ! :wall:

Thanks !enjoy playing ! :game:

Nice tutorial, but let me help you a bit.
It is easier to unpack ssfd.pac with x-packer to obtain 00.pac and import unedited 00.pac to ssfd. Then open it with hex editor.
ssfd.png
This is ssfd.pac. It differs from 00.pac only with header. So you can delete first line: <blockquote class='code_blockquote'><dl><dt>Code: </dt><dd> </dd></dl><code>50 41 43 20 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 50 97 02</code></blockquote> and open it open/rebuild it with expert tools. When you want to import it to the game, you just add: <blockquote class='code_blockquote'><dl><dt>Code: </dt><dd> </dd></dl><code>50 41 43 20 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 50 97 02</code></blockquote> in the beginning of the file. That's all.

*it is in case if your texture size is equal to size of original textures. If they are bigger, you rebuild your 00.pac with expert tools and import 00.pac to x-packer and only then you can import it to menu.pac[/SPOILER]
