Just wanna start a little discussion on when everyone started playing Virtual Pro Wrestling 2.  ;)

My first time playing Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 was about...maybe 5-6 months ago? I wasn't very familiar--no wait. I wasn't AT ALL familiar with the wrestlers (save for Vader, Andre the Giant, Terry Funk, Ultimo Dragon, Scott Norton,  and Yuji Nagata) until I started looking at a few of their matches/biographies.

Another thing I didn't realize at the time (until I looked at his moveset), was that Misawa had a lot of moves in common with AKI Man from WCW/nWo Revenge and that's when it hit me: AKI Man is based on Mitsuharu Misawa! Same with the Shogun (Kawada), Dr. Frank (Jumbo Tsuruta), the Executioner (Kobashi), and so on! It's funny to think I was playing as these guys and I didn't even realize it! And I started playing Revenge (my first wrestling game ever) when I was a little kid (like 3-4 years old).

5-6 months ago??? That's like barely the other day. I first played it maybe 5 or 6 years ago lol though probably even earlier. I know I played these games way back when they first came out. WCW/NWO World Tour came out like 22 years ago and I bought it when it first came out, then WM2K the same year it came out, and then No Mercy as well right away like in 2001. I stopped playing them around 2005 when I switched over to the PS2 and SYM and the Smackdown series but then came back to the AKI games via emulation on my PC when the same smackdown series started to suck major balls. I just picked up WWE 2K19 last week and am really loving it so far but I'll go back to VPW and co. eventually.

Ah neat, bro! I missed playing the Smackdown! series, especially HTCP and JBI (wished I had Shut your Mouth, too...). Me and my brother had so much fun playing those games...

Now look at me: continuously trying to unlock every legend in Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 (I have 15 out of 23), lol. The main ones I really wanted to unlock was Jumbo Tsuruta, Tiger Mask, and Antonio Inoki (and I did!). Also, explain to me how a good portion of these Japanese and Gaijin wrestlers have better stats than the American wrestlers in WWF WrestleMania 2000 and WWF No Mercy lol (you don't have to XP)

You can use a code to unlock all those guys, unless you like doing it the hard way lol.

Actually, I'm playing Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 on Wii64 (a homebrew channel app that lets you play N64 roms on your Wii), and as of now, even the latest builds aren't able to let us use GameShark codes. Also, I do have all of the legends, moves, and attires unlocked on Project 64, which I play on my TV. XP

That's cool you can play this game on Wii. I was hoping someone would find a way to be able to play N64 roms on the Dolphin emulator but I don't think that will ever happen. Texturing would be much easier on that emu.
