I don't even know why I am reporting this, but it has spread like wildfire on both dirt-sheets and general entertainment news websites.

Hulk Hogan has told a press conference that he will be wrestling a match at WrestleMania 32. And for reasons that cannot be understood, too many people actually believe him.

Hogan has a very creative memory, and often recalls conversations and events that have never happened. There is a massive clue that this latest story is false. Hogan claims that Vince McMahon told him personally that he doesn't want to do WrestleMania 32 without Hogan. He added that he is currently getting in shape for a big match at the show, and that all he needs is to pass a medical exam. People should know by now that Vince did NOT agree to have Hogan wrestle another match, because Hogan made this exact same claim for WrestleManias 30 and 31.

The only truth to the rumour is that Hogan will be involved with the show somehow, and likely the Hall of Fame event again. But he definitely will not be working any matches, and there is no way that Vince told him he could. Since Jerry Lawler's heart attack on a live Raw broadcast, the WWE has instituted a strict upper-age limit on all performers. It is not clear what this age-limit is, but Hogan, Lawler, McMahon and Lawler are all above it. Also, Hogan is constantly recovering from surgery, having a major operation almost every single year. He has trouble walking and has a limited range of mobility. Considering that his recent surgeries have been on his knees, hips and back, it is safe to say he will not be cleared to work a match within the next year. Hogan has been claiming that McMahon has told him that he will compete at WrestleMania since before his TNA contract expired in 2012, even though there has never been planned.

Hogan has become well-known for his tall tales. He recently caused controversy when he inducted Randy Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame. Hogan and Savage had been on bad terms with one another for over 10 years until Savage's death. Savage had went several years without ever speaking about Hogan to anyone. After his death, Hogan insisted that he and Savage had reconciled. Although Hogan has been inconsistent about when this happened or what town it happened in. Even people who were actually close to Savage have no idea if he had spoken to Hogan. He also disrespected the death of Ultimate Warrior by constantly insisting that he lived his final years in misery and that Hogan had spent years trying to help him. Warrior's widow Dana publicly warned Hogan to stop talking about her husband, noting that he was the only former colleague who had not reached out to the family since Warrior's death.
