* Mick Foley is the only name confirmed for the 2013 Hall Of Fame so far. If WWE Officials cannot attract a bigger name before Christmas, then Foley will be the headline entrant. And idea to induct Mick Foley and his alter egos Cactus Jack, Dude Love and Mankind as a group has been shot down.
* Many employees are worried that officials may be serious about inducting boxer Floyd "Money" Mayweather into the celebrity wing. Mayweather competed against Big Show at WrestleMania XXIV. The boxer alienated himself among fans and wrestlers alike for refusing to act professionally. Mayweather believed the he could beat Big Show in a genuine fight, so he refused to adhere to any scripts during his appearances. WWE writers were forced to turn him heel days before the event because his arrogant attitude had turned fans against him. During a planned brawl, many members of his posse tried to attack wrestlers for real. And on the night that he was due to host Raw, he missed half of the show due to driving offences earlier that day. Some are against having another boxer inducted so soon after Mike Tyson being inducted, but most are against inducting him at all.
* This is the first time in several years in which Mr. T was not approached. Mr. T was involved in matches at the first two WrestleManias. He refused to accept induction on the grounds that other non-wrestling celebrities, particularly baseball player Pete Rose, was inducted before him.
* Bruno Sammartino has refused induction into the HOF almost every single year since the first class was inducted. Sammartino is the first man to officially win the WWE Championship, and is arguably the most successful babyface of all time. He is said to be angry at Vince McMahon for the direction the company has taken since 1983.
* WWE officials are keen to induct the Hart Foundation as the group entry. The main reason is to make sure that Owen Hart gets included. Owen Hart and British Bulldog will not be inducted as their widows are still bitter with the WWE. Martha Hart still blames the WWE for her husband's death in 1999. Diane Smith is still angry over the WWE trying to claim ownership over some of her husband's possessions, which legally belong to Diane. They are also cross at the way they handled the career of Bulldog's son, Harry "David Hart" Smith. No-one feels that Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart should be inducted without the rest of the group. And they are skeptical about inducting Bret Hart for the second time, as Ric Flair was inducted for the second time this year. However, Brian Pillman may still be inducted.
* Some are expecting Triple H, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon to be inducted within the next five years, but not in 2013. The feeling is that when this happens, their in-ring career will be over. The same has been true so far for Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels.
* There has been talk about inducting either Booker T, Road Dogg, JBL or William Regal. If one of them is inducted, then none of the others will be inducted for a minimum of 2 more years. There is also concern that if too many HOF members are currently working in the WWE, it will devalue the meaning of the award.
* Rick 'The Model' Martel has also been suggested.
* The WWE are actually trying to induct Sting as the non-WWE entry. There was a feeling that he would not be inducted now that he is the only TNA HOF member. But the WWE are trying to work out a deal. If they fail to reach an agreement by the end of the year, negotiations will be stopped.
* The chances of Andy Kauffman being inducted have greatly increased in recent weeks. Jerry Lawler has been petitioning for years to have the comedian included. After Lawler's recent heart attack, WWE Officials have been given Kaufman more consideration.
* The names Ted Turner and Donald Trump have been suggested, but no-one expects these to be serious considerations ever.
* There is debate about whether or not to induct any women this year. There was an unspoken plan to make sure that there is a female inductee each year. If this goes ahead, Trish Stratus will get the nod. But the WWE are struggling to think of women who could follow in 2014. They are also concerned about how Sunny's personal troubles have become so public since her induction.
* If the WWE cannot secure a bigger group, they will consider Demolition. The one thing putting them off is knowing that Repo Man and Kona Crush would both be in the Hall of Fame by default.
