Just a little improvement for a code originally created by JamStubbs found here. The original code was meant to reset the count out when a second wrestler would exit the ring similar to what would happen in real life. However, the old code would only allow count outs to go to 10. This new code will allow the out of ring count out to go to either 10 or 20 depending on what you choose for your match options. I still find it weird that this was not included in the original game.

I decided to revisit this count out code in order to try to make it better. The first version relied on x, y, and z position addys which caused a few bugs every once in a while. I have redone the code from scratch to rely on ringside location addys instead. So now the referee should not restart their count at random times.

Here is an update to the Realistic Count Out V2 code that I made a while ago. Version 2 had a glitch where the count would not reset if a wrestler slides out of the ring under the ropes instead of through the ropes. This problem should now be fixed in version 3.

Nice job on this! Been using it recently and having fun. Just the odd time the count out has restarted when I tried to drag the opponent outside (and failed).

In the default No Mercy game, if you are outside of the ring with the referee counting you out and your opponent leaves the ring to fight you, the ref's count will not reset back to 1. Instead it will just continue counting even if you go back in the ring without the opponent. So, it is possible to lose by count out even if you were outside of the ring for less than 10 seconds.

With my version of the code, the referee will restart back at 1 every time someone leaves the ring. So, now you can fight outside for as long as you want if someone keeps going in and out of the ring to break the count.
The first post has been updated to include version 3 of the code.
