Former WWE and TNA talent Scott Hall has been hospitalized following a drug overdose. No further details are available at this time.

The former Intercontinental Champion has been battling serious health issues over the past year. He was hospitalized last June for double pneumonia, which had affected both lungs. He was hospitalized again in August due to complications from pneumonia. After recovering, Hall checked into a WWE-sponsored rehabilitation facility, and checked out in early October. Hall was hospitalized weeks later as he needed a pacemaker implanted into his heart.

Hall claimed last week he would not be on hand for the WrestleMania XXVII festivities in Atlanta, Georgia because the atmosphere would be detrimental to his quest to stay sober.

He posted his last Twitter message Sunday night while watching WrestleMania XXVII, writing "Taker wins!"

Damn man!! Scott is going downhill quick! Heyo :timeout:

In an update on Scott Hall's health, he's currently at home after a health scare that had him rushed to the hospital several nights ago. We posted yesterday here on the website that it was a drug overdose. Of course, his publicist claims he didn't overdose. Here is the press release:

For Immediate Release
New York, NY

Recent rumors regarding wrestler Scott Hall following a drug overdose were denied by Scott Hall's rep Geena Jinev Anac of Lightening Entertainment. "I just spoke to Scott, he is at home, doing fine in Orlando FL.

"Late last night Scott was at the hospital due to extremely low blood pressure & his doctor changed his blood pressure medication. Scott never overdosed last night, he is still recovering from last summer's double pneumonia & is being treated for heart. Scott regularly visits the hospital for blood work & checkups."

"All these rumors on the media are completely untrue & fabricated. "Scott is thankful to all his fans for their continuous support through thick and thin and looking forward in his future appearances throughout the states." Concluded Geena Jinev Anac.

Well what the fuck!! Apparently there are conflicting reports on this and that he is still indeed in hospital and not in a good way. I personally think he is not in a good way and that this is to cover him up!! We will see.

Ok now here is another twist in the Scott Hall saga......

Partial Source: The Pro Wrestling Torch

Quote:

Scott Hall has been hospitalized again after his appearance for Top Rope Promotions last night.

Hall's reps now claim he was admitted for treatment with "cardiac issues". His publicist says he will be in the hospital for at least three more days. They also claim he's taking ten different medications for "various ailments." Please keep in mind that Hall is said to be very sensitive about being labeled a drug addict so you'll never get that direct admission from his publicist. There will always be a denial from them until he decides to get the help he so desperately needs. Basically whatever Scott tells her, she writes into a press release and sends it out. The guy obviously needs help and many feel that instead of sending out false statements, the publicist should be trying to help the situation rather than make it worse as we noted earlier here on the website. Hall is also furious about word of the latest incident getting out because he feels it could cost him work. He really shouldn't be working in his current condition anyways. As noted earlier, sources say he has "major problems" with prescription medication.

Hall was already hospitalized once this week for "extremely low blood pressure," according to his representative. We've been told it was a drug overdose by someone who was around Scott when it happened.[/quote]

I think this answers the question.. He is in seriously bad shape.

Scott's not happy...

Scott Hall is not happy that the video of him during an event this weekend is being used to promote an i-PPV. A representative of Scott Hall told TMZ.com that he is upset that Top Rope Promotions is using footage of his in-ring incident from Friday night to promote their online pay-per-view event tonight.

"We find the footage to be very distasteful and not suitable for a pay-per-view audience and it's sad that the promoter has decided to air the uncut footage from the pay-per-view," representative Geena Jinev Anac said.

Several videos have been posted online of Hall struggling to get into the ring, followed by a promo to purchase the online event, which takes place tonight on WrestleStream.com.

Hall was hospitalized following an appearance at an independent wrestling show in River Fall, Massachusetts on Friday. According to his reps, he is being treated for "cardiac issues" and possible complications from the 10 different prescriptions he's taking.

Well this is a tad disrespectful to be doing this to promote a I-PPV and really does not do any favours for it either. I mean, he should have not been on the show in the first place, and could barely move. He took a bump, which was just insane in his condition and considering he has cardiac problems the guy could have suffered a heart attack. I pray he pulls threw this. Scott has given is all some great memories in wrestling.

Top Rope Promotions owner Steve Ricard sent out the following today…

STATEMENT FROM TRP OWNER STEVE RICARD RE: Scott Hall

Top Rope Promotions has been holding family oriented wrestling shows for 30 years now, and on our 30th Anniversary event, we brought in one of the biggest names in pro wrestling, Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon).

We drew a packed house and a good majority of them were there to see Hall. Hall and his people down in FL had all claimed he was clean and good to go. His flight and hotel were pre paid, and his appearance fee was demanded upon arrival at the airport (which he asked for within 3 min of being picked up).

Hall had arrived in a wheel chair with 3 bottles of prescription pills in his posession. Hall had performed an interview with our local newspaper The Herald News around 6 PM on Thursday night, saying how much he was looking forward to coming to the show, and how he was clean. Less then 24 hrs later, he showed up in the state he was in, demanding his appearance fee. Right off the bat, we were in a bad situation.

Having Hall at the building, already pre paid with his appearance fee, hotel, flight, etc. He even harassed my driver in the process. Hall was persistent to appear on the show. His heart was in the right place, unfortunately I can't say the same about his mind or his body.

Throughout the night he made threats to numerous members of my staff, as well as myself demanding more money, demanding to go to the ring when he wanted to etc. He was also threatening to kill me if I "screwed" him over. I'm 31 years old and I should be in no circumstances, babysitting someone in there 50's.

Hall made at best, an embarrassing performance in the ring and for the fans who came to see him, trashing matches that were on the show before him and addressing the crowd as if we were in England.

Neither Hall, nor anyone who helped line up the date, or any of his close friends or agents have called to apologize or offer a refund for his "less then stellar" appearance. He showed his true colors and who he was this past Friday night. If he's upset that we're airing a stream of this atrocious appearance, maybe he should issue an apology to the fans, the promotion, and the workers of the company. One would only assume that no one that night got what they paid for, myself included.

LMAO.... Prescription Pills. Story of his life.
