-- Mexican luchador Mistico has made inquiries to World Wrestling Entertainment officials about joining the organization. He took part in a tryout match prior to a television event in San Jose last year and was said to have impressed officials with his chain wrestling. However, he was making a lot of money in Mexico at the time and therefore did not join the company.

-- It was reported last week that with WrestleMania XXVII taking place in Atlanta, Georgia near the ten-year anniversary of the death of World Championship Wrestling, there will be some sort of tie-in involving the defunct wrestling promotion at the event. Former WCW stars Lex Luger, Ron Simmons and Arn Anderson are considered the top candidates to be inducted into the Hall of Fame during the extravaganza and it was noted this week that organization officials are considering negotiating again with Bill Goldberg

Wow if they get Golberg this could be the best HOF yet!! Ron Simmons, so deserves the award. Also Mistico joing WWE? Oh hell yeah!! Goodbye Rey Rey!!

Hey, let's not write off ole Rey, mang! He's getting older, and the fact that he can perform at the level he does is nothing short of impressive.

I hope Bill gets on board, otherwise their whole WCW throwback angle is just gonna be whoever still works for Vince in the back. C'mon, Simmons and Anderson? I do believe they deserve the HOF induction, but they've been working for Vince for YEARS.
