Quote:

WWE.com has learned from WWE medical personnel that Christian suffered a severe high ankle sprain while competing on WWE's recent overseas tour throughout Europe. The severity of the sprain has made it impossible for him to compete as a member of Team Barrett against Team Orton at Survivor Series this Sunday.

Christian's ankle injury is further compounded by what transpired a week prior on SmackDown, during which Christian claimed to have suffered a neck injury as the result of a chokeslam at the massive hands of Big Show.

At this point in time, no replacement has been named, nor has it been determined whether or not Team Captain Wade Barrett will be leading a four-man team into Survivor Series this Sunday.[/quote]

There will be a replacement. If the injured person was on Team Orton (i.e. the babyface team), then it would become a handicap match.

The WWE have a Survivor Series streak thing going with Randy Orton. For years, the WWE have made out that Orton can't lose at Survivor Series (even though he has). So I expect Team Orton to win.

What I would like to see is Dolph Ziggler replacing Christian. When Team Orton wins, the other members of Team Barrett will blame Ziggler. Ziggler does have the excuse the had another match earlier/to worry about, but the heels will not care. As a result, Vickie Guerrero will look worse for endorsing Ziggler. If Ziggler loses the United States title to Zack Ryder, his stock will fall even more, taking Guerrero's reputation with it. And then Guerrero will turn to Jack Swagger as her number one client. Swagger and Vickie will continue to pick on Ziggler, expanding the tension between Swagger and Ziggler.
