United Front Games annonced they were working with Square Enix on Triad Wars, a game taking place in the same universe as Sleeping Dogs. There are no informations about wether it will be a direct sequel or just taking place in the same universe, we have no information about the consoles it will be released for but let's assume it will be PC, PS4, XBOX One. More informations will be given in 2014.

What do you think about it ? Did you like Sleeping Dogs and want to see more of this world or should it have stayed a one shot game ?
Personnaly, i liked Sleeping Dogs, Saints Row was drifting away from the GTA competition to become it's own kind of game and Sleeping Dogs was a solid game with it's open world around asian world, a serious story and great liberty in the way you move or fight. We don't have much informations about Triad Wars but by it's name we can assume we will stay in Asia which, on the one hand bugs me a bit because i'm afraid to see the same city with maybe one or two blocks added but on the other hand the ambiance is great and it feels good to see something outside America.

I got access to the BETA last week-end, this game doesn't come out at the right time. It's free to play and still have the Sleeping Dogs fighting and way to move but the missions are repetitive (still a beta so more might be added in the future i guess). With GTA V coming out for PC in a few weeks, Triad Wars might have a hard time attracting people except for the fact that it's free.
