UGO.com has posted a list counting down the top 25 most overrated wrestlers of all-time. The ranking is topped by 13-time world champion Triple H, who was named Most Overrated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards on three consecutive occasions (2002-2004), and again in 2009.

Regarding the self-proclaimed "King of Kings", UGO.com wrote: "For too long, Triple H has received a free pass from internet wrestling fans, but we say, "No more!" Sure, he used to be great, but that was before he destroyed his body and moved on to destroying the careers of younger wrestlers. Folks these days like to say that "The King of Kings" makes people into stars, but wrestlers tend to either succeed despite the terrible, emasculating beatings he gives them or just disappear back into the midcard. What's worse is that he does it all with the same four boring, mechanical moves - a fact which goes strangely unnoticed by the world's Cena-bashers, who tend to love "The Game." If Triple H was as great as people say he is, the past 13 years of constant pushes shouldn't have just turned him into another Rock or "Stone Cold," it should have gotten him elected King of the Universe.

"And The Chaperone looks atrocious."

The complete ranking is as follows:

25. Diesel
24. Arn Anderson
23. Alberto Del Rio
22. Jerry Lynn
21. Shelton Benjamin
20. Verne Gagne
19. Jeff Jarrett
18. Sabu
17. Finlay
16. Christopher Daniels
15. Mr. Anderson
14. William Regal
13. Indy Geeks (Mike Quackenbush pictured)
12. Randy Orton
11. Gorgeous George
10. Scott Hall
9. Dean Malenko
8. Owen Hart
7. Christian
6. Curt Hennig
5. Miss Elizabeth
4. Jerry "The King" Lawler
3. Giant Baba
2. Hulk Hogan
1. Triple H

the guy who wrote this crap is a complete fucking idiot and has no clue what so ever about wrestling and the entertainment side of wrestling, it looks like he got a legends list and scratched out best and wrote overrated, Curt Hennig, Jerry Lynn, Owen Hart were some of the best technical wrestlers ever Hulk Hogan, Triple H are two of the best entertainers ever, overrated? I don’t think this clown knows the meaning of the word, this mother fucker needs to catch aids and fucking die slow and then have his body fucked by 15 necrophiliac over a period of 18 months and then bring him back to life and stab him to death with his mothers vibrator.

He should be the third one.

This list is a joke. Seriously. I mean how can you have Alberto Del Rio on there? He has just began his career in WWE. Whoever put this list together is a asshole.

This list is beyond inane. Why is Miss Elizabeth on this? She's not a wrestler! If Miss Elizabeth makes the list, why not that idiot Micheal Cole? Deisel? I'll agree with that, Nash had a bit of charisma back in the day, but not enough to make me think he's even half as great as he says he is. Shit, he doesn't even know what an adjective is! :O

Arn Anderson? Really? He makes this list but Edge doesn't? Really? Anderson could wrestle circles around Edge. Ug.......

Alberto Del Rio? The first time I ever saw Dos Caras Jr. was in the 2nd Super J Cup, and he was fantastic. This prick probably has no clue his history, he's been a wrestler for nearly 15 years that I know of, and I think his push may be unnecessarily too strong right now.... but as a wrestler he's great.

Jerry Lynn? Fuck you, not many men can start their careers as late in life as he did, and perform at the level he did. He's amazing.

Shelton Benjamin? No, when it comes to over-rated high-fliers that spot belongs to the Hardy Boys.

Verne Gagne? Without Verne, we would have no Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, the Iron Sheik, and Harley Race .... amongst countless others.... because he trained them. Ask Ric Flair if he would agree with that.

Jeff Jarrett? The only thing about this that is wrong is that he isn't further up this list. Like, maybe even #1.

Sabu? :wall:

Finlay? Perhaps.

Daniels? No way in hell. He's incredible. Kazarian should have got this spot.

Anderson? No, no and no... well, maybe. I really like Anderson, but over-rated of all time? Nah...........

Regal? Does this guy even know what good wrestling IS? Regal is the shit.

Indy Geeks? I guess this guy DOESN'T know what good wrestling is....... :X

Orton? How does Randy Orton make this list, but Jeff Hardy doesn't?

If Gorgeous George is over-rated than so is every wrestling character that after him. George had the BEST headlock takedown in the business, Period. That still stands to this day.

Scott Hall? NO, Sean Waltman.

Dean Malenko?!?!?!?!?!?!!? DEAN MALENKO?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?!!!?? :wall:

Owen Hart? No, Lex Luger.

Christian? No, EDGE.

Curt Henning? Why did he make this entry? Why did Henning make the list but there is no trace of the Dudleys?

The King? Maybe, I might agree with him on this one.... but Jerry really isn't that bad.

Baba? No, Big Show.

Hulk Hogan? Why is he only second? He should be first.

Triple H? No, JOHN CENA. :rules:

I read the original article, and it seems that the main reason why most of these guys made the list was because they never won a world title. Seriously, Curt Henning's entire reason for making this list was because he was "just and Intercontinental Champion". Idiot.
