Dana Warrior, the widow of Ultimate Warrior, has released a public statement aimed at Hulk Hogan.

Using his real name of Terry Bollea, Dana has requested that Hogan cease talking about her husband. Since Warrior passed away last April, Hogan has been very vocal about their alleged great friendship. Which comes as a surprise to many because Hogan and Warrior rarely had anything good to say about one another. A friend of Warrior's family emailed a video of Hogan's interview with the Grantland Channel. And Hogan's comments upset her further.

Dana pointed out the despite Hogan's claims that he "forgave" Warrior just before he died, Hogan has yet to pass his condolences to the family in any way. Almost every person on the current WWE roster had tried to reach out to Warrior's family and show their support, even though many had never even met Warrior. Triple H, Scott Hall, Jake Roberts and Kevin Nash were all considered to be real-life rivals of Warrior, but even they gave their condolences directly to Dana herself within 48 hours of the news. Even Ted DiBiase, who wrote a negative blog about Warrior just hours before the news broke, reached out to the family.

In the interview, Hogan talked about how he managed to make peace with Warrior just before he passed away. However, in usual Hogan style, he told the story in a way that makes himself look better than he is. He brought up the infamous 'Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior' DVD, in which he and several others slated Warrior heavily and made him out to be "crazy" and "insane". Hogan claimed that what he said in this DVD was all true, and Warrior had a problem with it because he had trouble remembering the past correctly. He then mentioned the 'Karma Collects' videos that Warrior produced, and then implied that Warrior made them because something that Hogan did years ago made him go crazy. Hogan said that he was now in a positive place in his life, and was upset that Warrior was not (yes, he seriously said this). He said that he made Warrior go crazy and that he needed to forgive Warrior so that Warrior could finally heal.

Hogan then described how WWE management demanded that Hogan kept away from Warrior during WrestleMania weekend, but when he defied them, he had no idea that they weren't being filmed. However, he went into detail about how frail Warrior was.

Dana was upset at Hogan taking so much credit for bringing peace to Warrior before he died. Especially as Hogan has yet to show any remorse or compassion away from the cameras. It is worth noting that Hogan's apology was caught on camera and then used in a WWE Network documentary. Hogan claims that he had no idea that the cameras were following Warrior until the new documentary was being finished. However, many speculate that Hogan would've respected McMahon's wishes to stay away from Warrior if the cameras were not there.

To date, all of Dana's comments so far was to thank people for their support, and to discuss the great things that the WWE has done for the family. Dana once claimed that the WWE sent their own personnel out to serve as personal aides for the family, and have helped the family pay some of their expenses.

I've been really quiet since the passing of my husband and the father of my girls. Someone sent me what Mr Bollea had to say in video interview with Grantland yesterday and I would just like to ask him to stop.

He is the only person in the WWE Universe who did not give a call or send a card. My girls asked why he didn't check on us like everyone else and I explained simply there isn't a camera at our mailbox or in the house when we receive our calls.

I would ask respectfully Mr Bollea, for you to understand my girls hurt and just let some time pass before you say anything more.

Dana A Warrior
