According to WWE sources, the company will be banning Seth Rollins from using the curb stomp finishing move.

WWE’s feeling about the move, which the WWE World Heavyweight Champion uses as his finisher, is that it’s too much of a direct liability and risk for a head injury. All of sports is trying to be more proactive when it comes to preventing head injuries and concussions, and this is the reason for WWE banning the curb stomp.

WWE reportedly doesn’t want its top star to be doing that move every night and they also don’t want to be showing it in past clips or videos anymore. This is why last week on RAW when Rollins came out, the video which played during his entrance was primarily just graphics of his name. The normal entrance video for Rollins features a compilation of clips, several of which are him performing the curb stomp.

Don't try this at home kids. If these young dudes understand the optical illusion that goes on with this move don't you think WWE wrestlers who take it night after night would also? Just making a point. Also to add further, if he was going to stop using the move don't you think he would have by now? Think about it! Wheres the source for this info ? Another Dirt sheet trying to drive more ad money revenue? I'll believe it when he gets a whole new finisher.

I'm all for protecting workers but banning the curbstomp is ridiculous, I'll be blunt and say if wwe don't want workers to do moves that risk head injuries then whats the action going to look like, they might as-well scrap the wrestling and turn it into a three hour long drama. if a wrestler is comfortable taking a move then that should be all that matters and if they have objections then they shouldn't have to do the spot but another wrestler who feels he can take the move safely and has no problem with it should not be stopped from doing said spot..........

If the move was soo injury risky why WWE made him use it in the first place.
