WWE.com has posted another article on Brock Lesnar.
The WWE are keen to keep Brock Lesnar in the minds of fans. Lesnar's contract limits him to a maximum of 25 appearances in a year, regardless of whether or not he has a match. So far, the WWE has used around have of those, and they plan to use many more between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 29. So this should not be taken as a sign that Lesnar on our screens any time soon.
Here is what WWE.com had to say about the former WWE and UFC Heavyweight Champion.
1. He’s been billed from Minneapolis, MN since his WWE debut in 2002, but Brock Lesnar actually grew up on a dairy farm in Webster, a South Dakota city with a current population of less than 2,000.
2. His childhood nickname was Brock-oli (broccoli).
3. He was recruited by WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco — a former college roommate of one of Lesnar’s wrestling coaches, J. Robinson.
4. He was a former roommate of Shelton Benjamin.
5. Before debuting in the WWE, his finishing move was the Shooting Star Press. He did not use the move even once, even in practise, for an entire year before WrestleMania XIX. This was why Lesnar botched the move in the main event.
6. Lesnar's first WWE match ended by referee stoppage. His match against Jeff Hardy was a no contest.
7. Lesnar left the WWE in 2004 to try out for the NFL. He nearly played for the Minnesota Vikings. He was dropped, but no official reason was ever made public.
8. The sword tattooed on his chest is meant to represent the myriad pressures that he since leaving the WWE in 2004.
9. Lesnar once defeated the 500 pound sumo wrestler Akebono in a wrestling match. This was exactly one year after Akebono defeated Big Show in Sumo Wrestling match at WrestleMania.
10. It is customary for American wrestlers to get smacked when they first compete in Japan. Lesnar refused to accept the initiation from WWE Hall of Famer Antonio Inoki.e. Lesnar refused.
