WWE.come has published an article giving 15 lesser known facts about the WWE. At first, it appears to be a boring list, but as you read on, the information becomes more and more interesting. Why don't you read it for yourself?

1. The match between Jake"The Snake" Roberts and "Ravishing" Rick Rude at WrestleMania IV ended in a time-limit draw. This is the only time this has ever happened at a WrestleMania event.

2. Major titles have changed hands more times on Raw or Smackdown than at WrestleMania. The total number of times a new major champion was crowned on television is 25, compared to only 24 succeeding at WrestleMania.
(Note: Does the WCW World Heavyweight Championship or the ECW Championship count as major championships? If they don't, then new major champions were decided on television 24 times, and only 23 times at WrestleMania. Below is the complete listings with all four championships counted.)

3. Spike Dudley holds the record for fasted title win. WWF European Champion William Regal had hidden a set of brass knuckles inside a turnbuckle pad. 4. DDP has only ever won 1 match on Raw. He once teamed with the Godfather to beat Lance Storm and Christian. It should be noted that the majority of DDP's matches during his short WWE run was on SmackDown.

5. Brock Lesnar technically spent one night as the WWE Undisputed Champion. The night after he won the title for the first time, he signed a contract that meant he would exclusively defend the title on the SmackDown brand. The World Heavyweight Championship was then introduced to be exclusive to the RAW brand. So therefore, the Undisputed Championship could not be undisputed as there was a second major title in operation. However, the WWE Undisputed Championship would still be so called until 2010.

6. No-one has ever won the WWE Divas Championship in the Madison Square Garden arean in New York City.

7. Hulk Hogan competed at all of the first 9 WrestleMania events. Tito Santana also competed in all of the first 8 WrestleManias. Santana has also competed in the very first ever WrestleMania match.

8. The average survival time in the Royal Rumble is 10 minutes and 40 seconds. Batista managed to win a Royal Rumble in just 11 minutes.

9. For a long time, the Hart Foundation (Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart) wore plain black ring attire, or plain black ring attire with a large red stripe down the sides. However, they would make pink and black the official colours of their team and family members.

10. The WWF Heavyweight Championship belt used between 1998 and 2001 has the McMahon family crest on one of the side-plates.

11. 'The Big Event', held on the 28th August 1986 holds the largest attendence record for any WWE event (apart from WrestleManias). The Exhibition Stadium in Toront played hose to 74,080 fans.

12. In 1993, the WWE released a record called 'WrestleMania: The Album". It was full or original songs performed by WWE Superstars. It had much better chart success in the UK than in the US, reaching #10 in the album charts. Two songs on the album also reached #4 and #14 on the singles charts. The producer for the UK release was none other than Simon Cowell of American Idol / X-Factor fame.

13. John Cena's career was saved by his rapping prowess on the 2002 Halloween Special of Smackdown. Cena would be repackaged as a rapper and finally connected with WWE audiences. And throughout his career, non-Cena fans have taunted Cena with 'Vanilla Ice' references. What many people do not realise, Cena was meant to be dressed as Vanilla Ice on that Halloween special.
(Note: If you do not know who Vanilla Ice is, then how are you able to use the Internet?)

14. The Undertaker is the first man to win any title in a 'Hell In A Cell' match. This was 12 years after the very first 'Hell In A Cell' match, which also featured Undertaker. This was the 17th HIAC match.

15. During the 2nd May, 1992, edition of WCW Saturday Night, a press conference was held to announce an impending NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament. For unknown reasons, two of the microphones on the podiums clearly had WWE logos, even though the WWE was not connected with the tournament, the NWA or WCW at that time.
