Voice Data Starting Addys
These addys are what the game looks at when it reads in what a music voice will sound like. I don't know specifically what addys actually change what...the sounds of the game don't interest me much. I DO know that if you changed every value from 8035D540 - 8035D5E0 to look like every value from 8035DE30-8035DF00, you'll change the Bass Drum voice to a Guitar voice for every song. Anybody want to f*** with these?

Voice Identity Mods
These addys control which voice is which.
These addys do so by telling the game where to start reading the voice information in RAM.
The addys listed are actually the second half of a 32-bit pointer so the values are the last 4 digits of the Voice Data Starting Addy for each voice.
MEANING :
Voice Data Starting Addy : 8035D540 - Bass Drum
Voice Identity Mod : 81360E7E - Bass Drum
The value for the voice identity mod would be D540 ( like in the Voice Data Starting Addy )
EXCEPTIONS :
If you are changing a voice above "Wood Block Tap 2" to a voice below "Metal Drum Tap 1", you need to use a second code. Subtract 2 from the Voice Identity Mod addy and use 8036 as the value.
If you are changing a voice below "Metal Drum Tap 1" to a voice above "Wood Block Tap 2", you need to use a second code. Subtract 2 from the Voice Identity Mod addy and use 8035 as the value.
EXAMPLE:
81360F82 0090 - Metal Drum Tap 1 becomes Wood Block Tap 2
AND
81360F80 8036
81360F86 FFF0 - Wood Block Tap 2 becomes Metal Drum Tap 1
AND
81360F84 8035
WHY?
If you are changing a voice above "Wood Block Tap 2" to another voice above "Wood Block Tap 2" or changing a voice below "Metal Drum Tap 1" to another voice below "Metal Drum Tap 2", you've got no problems.
--But Look at these Voice Data Starting Addys--
8035FFF0 - Metal Drum Tap 1
80360090 - Wood Block Tap 2
When you use the Voice Identity Mods, you're only changing the last 4 digits of the starting address where the game will start reading the Voice Data.
VISUAL
Starting with these Voice Identity Mods
81360F82 - Metal Drum Tap 1
81360F86 - Wood Block Tap 2
In the mem ed it looks like this:
--------------------
80360F80 : 80 35 FF F0 80 36 00 90
--------------------
This means the game looks at 8035FFF0 to get the Voice Data for Metal Drum Tap 1, and at 80360090 to get the Voice Data for Wood Block Tap 2
--------------------
If you wanted to swap Metal Drum Tap 1 and Wood Block Tap 2 and you only use the last 4 digits of the Voice Data Starting Addy, you'd use these codes:
81360F82 0090 - Metal Drum Tap 1 becomes Wood Block Tap 2
81360F86 FFF0 - Wood Block Tap 2 becomes Metal Drum Tap 1
But it wouldn't work because you'd only change the last 4 digits of the address that the game will look at for Voice Data :
--------------------
80360F80 : 80 35 00 90 80 36 FF F0
--------------------
This means the game will look at 80350090 to get the Voice Data for Metal Drum Tap 1 and at 8036FFF0 to get the Voice Data for Wood Block Tap 2. BUT, look at the ACTUAL Voice Data Starting Addys again:
8035FFF0 - Metal Drum Tap 1
80360090 - Wood Block Tap 2
The game won't be looking at the right addys, so the code won't work. You need to subtract 2 from the Voice Identity Mod for each one and change the FIRST four digits of the Voice Data Starting Addy also:
81360F82 0090 - Metal Drum Tap 1 becomes Wood Block Tap 2
AND
81360F80 8036
81360F86 FFF0 - Wood Block Tap 2 becomes Metal Drum Tap 1
AND
81360F84 8035
So the mem ed will look like this:
--------------------
80360F80 : 80 36 00 90 80 35 FF F0
--------------------
This means the game will look at 80360090 to get the Voice Data for Metal Drum Tap 1 and at 8035FFF0 to get the Voice Data for Wood Block Tap 2. Those are the CORRECT Voice Data Starting Addys, so NOW the code works.

Speed & Pitch Mods for CGM Voices
These mods determine how fast the voice is played.
Most voices have a default value of C240.
A smaller value makes the voice play faster, and a larger value makes a voice play slower.
When a voice plays faster, the pitch is higher and when a voice is played slower, the pitch is lower.

VISUAL
Starting with these Voice Identity Mods
81360F82 - Metal Drum Tap 1

In the mem ed it looks like this:
--------------------
80360F80 : 80 35 FF F0 80 36 00 90

If you wanted to swap Metal Drum Tap 1 and Wood Block Tap 2 and you only use the last 4 digits of the Voice Data Starting Addy, you'd use these codes:
81360F82 0090 - Metal Drum Tap 1 becomes Wood Block Tap 2

This means the game will look at 80350090 to get the Voice Data for Metal Drum Tap 1 and at 8036FFF0 to get the Voice Data for Wood Block Tap 2. BUT, look at the ACTUAL Voice Data Starting Addys again:
8035FFF0 - Metal Drum Tap 1

The game won't be looking at the right addys, so the code won't work. You need to subtract 2 from the Voice Identity Mod for each one and change the FIRST four digits of the Voice Data Starting Addy also:
