Kurt Angle is reportedly dealing with yet another injury. It is not known if it happened at, or before the live event in Dalton, Georgia. The main-event match between Angle and Mr. Anderson was cut short, hinting that the injury happened mid-match. However, the duo were attacked by Aces and 8s, with members of the stable focusing on Angle's injured leg. So it is possible that this will be part of a story line to write Angle out for a while.
Angle is still scheduled to team with A.J. Styles at the No Surrender pay-per-view, where they will have their rematch for the TNA Tag Team Championship. Their opponents will be the current champions Daniels and Kazarian.
Speaking of Angle, he will be serving as a member of the broadcast team for the new NBC programme 'World Series of Fighting'. He will serve as an analyst for the MMA show, working alongside Michael Schiavello and Bas Rutten. The show will air on November 3rd.
After failing to qualify for the Team USA at this year's Olympics, Angle auditioned to serve as an announcer for NBC's coverage of the wrestling. He was considered but ultimately not selected.

Angle has a very storied history with injuries.
Angle famously won gold in Freestyle Wrestling at the 1996 Olympics. He had hidden a serious concussion during the qualifying competitions. And then he won the medal while dealing with a broken neck.
Injuries have since dogged Angle throughout his pro wrestling career. These also include re-breaking his neck. However, Angle frequently returns to action long before his injuries have fully healed, thus resulting in further injuries. This was one of several reasons that the WWE released Angle in 2006.
Some people are always skeptical when news of an Angle injury is released or leaks out. Angle frequently learns that he is injured just after he is told that he is scheduled to lose an upcoming major match. He has also noted that he has been injured during other significant loses during his career. There was speculation that Angle intentionally lied about having a hamstring injury just before 'Bound For Glory' in 2010. Angle was expected to lose the TNA Heavyweight Championship to Bobby Roode, who was not yet a main-eventer. But when Angle retained the title, the injury was said to have been "much worse" before he dropped the belt to James Storm 2 nights later. People were stunned when this injury turned out to be legitimate.
