APNG?

Hey chaps - so I've known for a couple years that animated png's exist and is something that's beginning to get popularity amongst web designers. I've just tried to play with them to work in No Mercy or well rice's plugin in general and it doesn't accept the frames.

If somebody can supply me a link to the source code, I can probably take a look inside it and see if I can enable an animated png library. Would be pretty neat.

Specifically Mudlord's source code as that's the most practical.

If you're going to use texture mods, you should really look into the new 1.7 Texture-Load feature instead of using Rice's plugin. The game just looks 10x better.

Someone already made a plugin based off of mudlord's, but it only animated the alpha layers. I'll try to dig it up.
