Arena editing problem

Hey guys i was trying to use Jarnoboys tutoril for editing arenas ... i skipped acouple of steps and downloded nikes TNA arena and tryed to edit it but didn't work ... i have to mention that i am nat that good at hex editing and such ...

All i ask if if someone can make a video tutorial of jarniboys ... or if you know easyer way to do it please amke a video ...

if game freeze maybe the arena you have downloaded has different size about the original you have replaced
if you don't know how to edit ARC when you mod something ,the textures archive pac you create must have same size of original..without touching ARC only way is to work on single textures and make a little bit small 'til you obtain a final archive with same size of original (for arenas your C8.pac with your textures must be the same as C8.bpe before to inject )

i dont understand .. that s why i requested a video tutorial ... thx nyways but if nybody can make a vid i will be grtefull !

try to see on tutorials section how to mod arenas..it'n not hard ..but if the arena you have downloaded ,like i think,has different size only way is to modify ARC file..and this AIN'T EASY.. if you don't modify arc file game always freeze using this arena

The textures are inside C8.pac of every arena.

;) yeah..it is! but C8.pac is originally compressed inside C8.BPE...and when you create a new textures archive ,the new pac has different size from bpe because it's not compressed ..when you inject your archive as new C8.pac in the place of C8.bpe if it's too big the main file of the textures ,exemple : 0001.pac (raw arena) ,will be more great too ! at this point only way to evit crush is to modify ARC file for making place to the new file's size.
other way to make small some textures inside arena until you have a new C8.pac file with same size of C8.bpe. i did like this for

NJPW PATCH

i create every arena a little bit less than C8.bpe and then i put missing bytes with hex editor until i had same bytes between c8.pac and c8.bpe ..this way no need to touch arc file.
importing arena has same problem..if imported arena has different size game will crush..
if imported arena is more big you must touch arc file if is less you're a lucky one..with hex editor you put missing bytes.

TUTORIALS

importing arena be carefully if the arena you replaced has entrance's ramp..or wrestlers will "fly" high ^o)

x-packer, optipix, svredit is what you need. NOTHING MORE. No hex edit necessary. It's as easy as editing characters.
