I didn't see Man of Steel because i never really liked the superman character, when i read MoS 2 will be superman vs batman i thought it could be interesting but now all i can think about is :

Ben Affleck + superhero = Daredevil bad movie

He might look good as Bruce Wayne but I just cannot picture him as Batman.

We will just have to wait and see. Though, my hopes are all low.

You guys are freaking out before even seeing the movie.

People felt the exact same way when Tim Burton cast Michael Keaton for his first Batman movie, and that movie freaking ruled.

Ben has the face, jawline and character... why are people so angry? Christian Baal looked NOTHING like Bruce Wayne and had NO jaw.

We have to remember that George Clooney was also Batman. So this could have gone a lot worse.

My only issue with Affleck being Batman is that he already bombed as DareDevil. I'm not saying that this should disqualify him from being in Superhero movies. But you cannot have one actor be the face of multiple superheroes. It isn't right that Matt Murdoch and Bruce Wayne are the same guy.

I am annoyed that Ryan Reynolds was Green Lantern, Deadpool and Hannibal King. I think he is also going to be Aquaman or something too.

Let's get something strait, he didn't bomb as Daredevil, the Daredevil movie bombed, he didn't write the script or direct the thing, it isn't his fault that they complete missed who Matt was and made Kingpin into an idiot.

Personnaly i don't have a problem about an actor being multiple heroes as long as it's in different universes (Reynolds as Hannibal King and Deadpool was a mistake since both are Marvel) and considering the rumor that Daredevil will be rebooted i won't consider Affleck as the Daredevil.

He didn't write it but he accepted the role to become the face of the movie and critics are falling on him, it may be unfair but to me it's enough to be worried about seeing him in another superhero movie, it's the same for Reynolds, it wasn't his fault if Blade Trinity was the worst of the trilogy or if the Deadpool character in Origins was lame or if Green Lantern was...well i can't even say anything about i couldn't even stand to watch it completely but his name is linked to failures in superhero movies and even if i don't like when they change an actor for a role and would love a Deadpool movie to come out, if he is in i would go with some apprehensions.

I wouldn't say awesome but interesting and risky, for many people he is the face of a lame hero movie, Batman was so succesful with Bale and Nolan's trilogy is still fresh in people minds that i think there are two options :

. Affleck does an awesome Batman and equalize Bale and almost steal the main spot of the MoS2 movie, his acting career could have a new boost.
. Affleck is really bad to slightly below Bale and everyone will jump on him saying that since the first day they knew how bad he would be.

Here are his acting requirements: He has to wear a mask and growl. Check.

As Bruce Wayne, he has to act like a rich, pompous asshole as a facade. Check.

Unlike the last Batman, Ben actually has a jawline and blue eyes. He looks more like Bruce Wayne than Christian.

Also, the next dumbass that somehow tries to connect the Daredevil movie with this is getting a piece of my mind. Get it through your heads, Ben Affleck didn't write or direct that piece of shit, so it has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion.

I agree, you cant blame the actors as they are given a script and there lines and its there job to do the best they can with what they are given. No doubt.
