Well, I seen MaiCue and PG doing it, and I found it great, so I felt a need to do it too.
Back in time, when I discover the majority of the internet, I joined a wrestling forum. I found it great because I was able to discuss wrestling with people that actually understand the business, and I got to have some fun. I hanged around it for some time, and I'm still a member there, I still give it a visit.
Then a buddy from that forum linked me to an another forum. It was called Wrestling Paradise. Yes, it WAS, because it's dead right now. It was pretty fun but then people started visiting it less. It is closed now.
But then I was checking the WWE Raw patches on YouTube, and I seen an Armageddon patch. There was a link to a forum in a description, we all know it, it's The Wreck Room.
I actually loved The Wreck Room, it was great. It contained many great patches for Raw. I actually didn't care about mods, I just downloaded some patches. But then I posted an introduction, and I started being an active member of the forum. I was on TWR for some time, then I checked the "Advertise your forum" section. There was a huge amount of copycat boards, and tnafan's Old Skool Reunion.
I ignored that advertisement for a lot of time. But then tnafan started posting a lot of updates, and I could not not notice the development of the "Old Skool Reunion Community". But I still didn't want to join it, I honestly thought it was stupid.
But then one day, I don't know what devil came into me, so I opened that topic, clicked the link, and signed up to Old Skool Reunion. I thought I won't last long, but I joined because tnafan was a very nice guy and I wanted to give his forum an extra member.
And I was really surprised what happened when I posted an introduction. Everyone welcomed me with open arms! I felt like home. I checked the No Mercy modding section, and I seen a lot of great mods and other stuff. So I wanted to contribute with something, but since I was not a modder, I had to do something else.
So I opened the GFX section, and posted one of the shittiest graphics that I made, if not the worst. I posted it on a place or two before, and everyone told me that "it's good for a rookie" or "try to do more, maybe they'll be better than this" or "not that good IMO" and comments like that. But when I posted it on OSR, everyone encouraged me to make more, they liked the graphic. tnafan even promoted me to a graphic teacher!
Anyway, I felt really good and I made more and more and more and more graphics, and BAM! Right now, I couldn't live without Photoshop!
A lot of things changed since I first joined OSR: tnafan is AKI Man now, cbv is the Flying Toaster, Micheal is M now, not to mention other name changes. A lot of great members came here. They make OSR more active and better.
We have a great staff that makes great decisions, and they are taking care of this place tremendously! I never seen a friendlier forum ever! I spend most of my computer time on OSR, so I actually became an OSRdict

I just wanted to thank AKI Man for creating this lovely place and I wanted to thank all of members for being great friends: I don't know what would I do without OSR!
