It is being reported that there is an arrest warrant out for Teddy Hart.
Hart is wanted by police in Strathcona County (Alberta, Canada) on assault, sexual assault and unlawful confinement charges. The charges were pressed by two women; one of whom believes that there are other victims and wants them to come forward. The warrant was issued but it is believed that Teddy is in the United States. His father, B.J. Annis, claims that Teddy has already spoken to a lawyer and the charges were due to a dispute between Teddy and one victim.
Teddy was the first third-generation member of the legendary Hart family to make his professional debut. He became a big name internationally and on the independent circuit for his high-risk, acrobatic style. However, he was his own worst enemy due to his unprofessional conduct. Many co-workers and promoters had been put off by his poor attitude. This led to him losing contracts with WWE, TNA Wrestling and Ring Of Honor. Teddy is a grandson of Hall of Famer Stu Hart. He is a nephew of Bret, Owen, Keith, Bruce, Smith, Wayne, Ross and Dean Hart, British Bulldog and Jim Neidhart. He is cousins with Natalya and Harry Smith. He is also indirectly related to Roddy Piper, Dynamite Kid and Tyson Kidd.
This news broke within 24 hours of a warrant for Heath Slater being issued. Slater is to be charged with simple assault / battery over an incident that happened in 2011. A woman working for a security group claimed that Slater put her in a "chokehold" and attempted to drag her back to his room. She claims to have broken several vertabrae in the incident. The WWE have released a statement but Slater has not.
