Kevin Nash has just announced on Twitter that charges against him have been dropped.
KEVIN FRIGGIN' NASH was arrested on Christmas Eve on charges of domestic assault and battery against his own son. His son was later arrested on similar charges an hour later. According to witnesses, Nash's son returned home in a drunken state and became verbally aggressive with his mother. When Kevin intervened and told him to be respectful, his son spat in his face and tried to push him away. Kevin then pinned him against a wall. His son responded by scratching at Kevin's face. When police arrived, they initially saw the bloodied Kevin and believed that he was the aggressor and arrested him.
His son claimed to police that Kevin had attacked him and even chokeslammed him. He added that he hit his head on the floor and blacked out for a few moments.
Kevin was released on bail on Christmas Day. He had been very appreciative on Twitter to staff at the facility for their professional and patient conduct. He also praised fans for their support during the whole incident. Even when breaking this latest news, he was still appreciative to fans for their support.
The WWE had suspended Kevin's legends contract until the his "domestic issues were sorted out". There is no word yet if the suspension will be lifted. If it is not, there will likely be an internet petition to get his contract reinstated.
