Bella Twins Released.
WWE.com has already confirmed that Brianna Monique Garcia-Colace (Brie Bella) and Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace (Nikki Bella) have been released from their WWE contracts.
The news was published on WWE.com during the live Raw SuperShow broadcast. The Bella Twins both featured in a short triple threat match for the Divas title, which was won inside 1 minute by Divas Champion Layla.
Their departure was expected. As reported numerous times, their contracts were due to expire in the very near future, and that they had both refused to sign a renewal.
Due to their contract termination, they are now subject to the 90-day clause. This prevents them from appearing or signing with any wrestling show with a pay-per-view or television deal for the next 90 days. If their contracts had ran out naturally, they would be able to sign with Ring of Honor or TNA Wrestling right away. However, there has been no indication that either girl wants to remain involved with professional wrestling.
The girls may no longer use the terms, 'Bella Twins', 'Bella', 'Brie and Nikki / Nikki and Brie', 'Brie Bella', 'Nikki Bella' or 'Twin Magic', as WWE owns the copyrights.
However, Brianna may continue to use the name 'Brie' due to her legal birth name. But it is not clear whether or not Stephanie could continue to use the name 'Nikki' or not.

For obvious reasons, all previously proposed story lines involving the Bella Twins have been canned. The WWE had planned to continue a feud between the Bellas and AJ, based on Brie's real-life relationship with Daniel Bryan. Their alliance with Alberto Del Rio has also come to a complete end, as is the planned move to the SmackDown brand. And their year-long feud with Kharma shall not be going ahead.
For those interested, Nikki is not presently linked romantically with any Superstar. But RagNaRoc has already called dibs on her.
