Breaking News: CM Punk undergoing emergency knee surgery

WWE.com has learned WWE Champion CM Punk is currently undergoing surgery on his knee in Pensacola, Fla.

Last night, after Ryback drove him through a table, The Straight Edge Superstar took a late night flight to Florida for an emergency consultation with Dr. James Andrews. A review of his condition resulted in the WWE Champion’s immediate surgery today. (PHOTOS FROM RAW)

To require immediate surgery, its got to be considered serious.

He may require 1-2 months off which means he would have to drop the title either to Ryback or The Rock. TLC is just around the corner, so until we get full reports on his condition we can only speculate.

Due to the nature of the TLC pay-per-view, it would be very easy for Punk to steal a win. His match stipulation has to be either Ladder, TLC, Table or Steel Chair. All 4 make it real easy for Punk to retain should there be outside interference from the Shield.

After that, he will work hurt against the Rock, and then rest until WM.

I read some updates on this and some ppl say that Punk will not be able to wrestle at TLC..That Sucks!
If Punk will drop the title because of an untalented ass who injured him I'm gonna be really pissed off!
Ryback doesn't deserve to be in the title picture.He is such un untalented wrestler.He can barely talk.
I think it's too early for Ryback for such big chances like a wwe title shot.He should go back to mid-card to go to US or IC title not WWE.
I'm so sick of Cena and Ryback in the title picture.
