A few weeks ago, rumours circulated that a WWE Superstar had a backstage argument with Vince McMahon, even going so far as to request his release from the company.

The rumours are indeed true. The wrestler in question is still under contract with the company, and his identity has been revealed.

Like many other members of staff, this wrestler was unhappy with the direction that the company had taken. He pointed out that the product was in trouble and general ratings and show attendance was too poor for the company to cope. He also criticised McMahon's insistence on using the WWE to endorse Twitter and Tout, and not the other way around. He also criticised the overuse of retired wrestlers and non-famous celebrities. And the remark that really hurt McMahon was his comment that McMahon was out of touch.

fuck yes! Maybe we can see a heel cena, I've liked his heel gimmick, even his rapper gimmick as a face was cool, I lost him when he started changing attires every other month and was just impossible to watch wrestle. I'm hoping something comes out of this!
Hopefully a heel turn or TV-14A or something!

I think what WWE Needs is Vince McMahon to get involved in angles, like in the attitude era or when he was against DX in 2006. When McMahon is from the side of one wrestler, or hates a wrestler, the storilines become interesting

Cena is a guy I hate to see wrestle. However I respect him more than the majority of the WWE current roster. He has been the poster boy of this company for far to long. If Vince is smart, he will use this to his advantage and turn this around by using this real life situation turn into a story. Cena has been a face for far to long and the time is now for Vince to see that turning Cena heel is the way to go. The attitude era is done, and will never be repeated. Let that go guys.. However, they can turn this into something very cool and make WWE a more interesting product by having some "Attitude" back into the company. I think a lot of the top tier wrestlers are feeling the strain, and ratings is down, now doubt.
