WWE.com has learned that John Cena has been involved in a three-car accident in Philadelphia. The SUV the WWE Superstar was traveling in was reportedly rear ended by a Honda Civic, which was rear ended by a tractor trailer. Police arrived at the scene and no immediate injuries were reported.

Cena is scheduled to meet with WWE medical personnel when he arrives at Philadelphia Wells Fargo Center for tonight WWE Raw SuperShow event.

In less than two weeks, Cena will face The Rock at WrestleMania XXVIII in the most anticipated bout in WWE history. The effect this accident will have on the Cenation leader remains to be seen. WWE.com will stay with this story as it develops.

UPDATE:
Although Cena claims to be 100 percent, the Superstar is still set to meet with WWE medical personnel today at Philadelphia Wells Fargo Center. Cena was scheduled to face Mark Henry on tonight Raw SuperShow , a match, which according to Cena, will go on as planned.

I have been in plenty of car wrecks before, the former WWE Champion said. I am in one piece and I can still do battle with The World Strongest Man tonight.

Another UPDATE:

According to Cena's driver, Jules Anderson, the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m., when Cena's vehicle was traveling eastbound on Rt. 76. The SUV sustained slight damage in the rear, according to Anderson, who further confirmed that no injuries were observable at the scene of the accident. Cena was on a phone meeting at the time of the collision.

The Cenation Commander in Chief's celebrity may have also helped calm the waters between the other drivers, Anderson said.

"They were arguing, and I stepped in to calm the situation down," he said. "I told the guys, There's no need to fight, as long as everybody's living and breathing."

Once Anderson informed the other drivers that his passenger was the former 12-time World Champion, tempers cooled.

"I said, I have the most important client right now, I've got to get John Cena down to this next meeting," he continued. "Immediately, when they saw it was John Cena in the car, they calmed down, started acting like friends, and wanted to meet him."

@ Wildforce, the accident isn't funny, but the pun was.

When I saw the title I was freaking out.... upon reading the article... Super Cena, as usual. That must have been nuts, you're fighting with the guy who was in a wrecl with you, and suddenly Cena shows up to calm everyone down.

Hey, I didn't even learn to drive until I was 26 due to a terrible car accident, I understand how traumatizing it can be..... the joke was funny. No one was hurt.

Im sorry but loco's Pun was hella funny! Im sure he was not making a joke out of the accident, just the fact that "Super" Cena was there when the accident took place.

My wife's mum and my daughter was involved in a car accident a few years back that could have ended very seriously and I could have easily took offence, but god watched over them and kept them safe, just like these people involved. Im glad everyone is ok and Cena is still in one piece.

Thank fuck I dont have a car atm. Roads scare me.

Oh, I have a car. I just don't drive it, often. It's an 1984 Lincoln Towncar Signature series, but it doesn't even have 90,000 miles on it, yet! I feel like every time I drive the thing, I'm hurting it's value.....

Also, all leather interior, it drives my vegan sisters nuts, all the more reason to love it.

If Cena was hurt, I wouldn't of made the pun.

Frankly, I am just glad it wasn't a publicity stunt to build up Cena going into WrestleMania. Like Jeff Hardy being found unconcious before Survivor Series a few years back (to cover up Edge' return).

It wasn't uncalled for. I don't know why you are taking his little joke so god-damned seriously.

Sorry dude, I'm not trying to be an ass, but you are over-reacting a bit. It was a little Cena joke, for fuck's sake. Calm yourself and whatever is bothering you. Go be mad at Michael Bay, he deserves it more.

Let's be real here. The report was a car accident, not Lex Luthor attacked Cena with kryptonite. No reason to worry.
