Don't read too much into this.

Lesnar still has his deal with UFC, which ends AFTER his WWE deal expires. Lesnar could leave at any time. But it is more likely that he will wait until his WWE contract ends. Lesnar hates travelling, which is why he only agreed to do 24 shows. But he is in it for the money. He will NOT reject the money or publicity that comes from being in a main event at WrestleMania, or another WWE video game. And his sponsors pay him even more money each time he wears his ring gear.

He probably said he wanted to retire from MMA so that Dana White will sign him to a bigger contract and also to tease his return to the UFC, which will generate buyrates, like what he is doing for WWE now. Brock IS a smart businessman.
