<big><big>Captain America : The Winter Soldier</big></big> MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS
Before the movie :
As I already said i never read comics but love comic books movies, among all the Avengers characters solo movies Captain America was the one i liked the less (still enjoyed it though). The Winter Soldier's trailer and the character of the Winter Soldier interested me, also some comments saying it was the best of these movies decided me to go watch it on the first day.
Movie Plot :
After the events of the Avengers Steve Rogers is still working for the SHIELD even if he is losing trust in it after learning that Fury didn't tell him everything about the mission.
When one of Rogers' friend, a SHIELD agent, is attacked and killed under his eye he understands that no one can be trusted in the agency. With the help of Black Widow and Sam Wilson, a veteran soldier, he will have to face traitors, the Winter Soldier and protect millions of people from a threat coming from inside the SHIELD.
My impressions :
+ Falcon. The character is likeable and his abilities look good on screen.
+ Nick Fury finally is in action and not only giving orders from behind his desk.
+ The Winter Soldier is a brute who can balance fights against Captain America and has a backstory tied to Rogers.
+ The story has some kind of political aspect.
- Flash backs. We know the story of the characters and don't need that.
- Peggy Carter in scenes that take place nowadays. I think i know why it's there but to me it's a try to force an emotion scene on the viewers.
- Some things Captain America says about/to the Winter Soldier seem simple.
To conclude, I liked this movie much more than the first one, the characters of Black Widow and Falcon are not here as sidekicks but really helps in the story and it felt like a small Avengers movie.
Even if Captain America is still my least favorite Avenger, the movie is great and made me like him a bit more, also the new characters are nice, great entertainment to watch with friends.
