<table><tr><td>Chris Masters to TNA?

Former WWE Superstar Chris Masters is interested in joining TNA Wrestling.

He tweeted Thursday, "Getting ready to watch some Impact. They have a lot of guys I'd love to work. 2012 MTI Masters2Impact."

TDK's Take:

I can understand Masters wanting TNA, but TNA wanting Masters?

To be honest, he's never been more than a mid-carder and his in-ring work leaves a lot to be desired. Not quite sure how he'd help...</td><td>

I have to agree with what has been said already. Masters was pretty good during his second run.

I posted this before, but this was possibly Masters' worst match during his second run (excluding battle royals).

Look how expertly he carries McIntyre. McIntyre uses mainly punches and kicks, including some stiff shots, but Masters takes it all properly.
McIntyre botches 3 times, but I bet you miss them. Because Masters covers his mistakes so well (hint: one of them, Drew falls will performing a leg drag, forcing Masters to dive over him to sell the move).
Like a true babyface, he tries to avoid the brawl and keeps going back to wrestling moves.
After sustaining the "knee injury", he sells it beautifully. He even intentionally botches his own moves to show how badly hurt his leg is (supposed to be).
He uses desparation moves that knock the wind out of himself, emphasizing how much he risked in getting some offence going.

Masters has definitely improved, I just don't see TNA improving him much.
