Quote:

- Regarding the RAW in Montreal where Jerry Lawler had a heart attack, it's said that Triple H and Rey Mysterio were noticeably crying when Lawler was being worked on.

- Tokyo Sport and The Wrestling Observer are reporting that WWE and All Japan Pro Wrestling have forged an alliance and will be working together. John Laurinaitis reportedly helped put the deal together. More details should be available soon.

- Christian is now recovering from shoulder surgery. No word yet on when he will be able to return to the ring.[/quote]

I would, too, so long as they are utilized properly. I think some really great things could come of it.

Quote:

We noted yesterday how word came from Japan that WWE is partnering up with All Japan Pro Wrestling. This comes after WWE's recent tour of Japan where several promotion heads pitched ideas to WWE officials about establishing developmental territories there.

In an update, word is that All Japan's Kaz Hayashi and another official had dinner with WWE's John Laurinaitis while WWE was in Japan earlier this year. AJPW talked with Laurinaitis about them being a developmental territory for WWE. Apparently that's what the new partnership is. For what it's worth, the impression was given to Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer that there's "nothing major" to the deal.

As much as I love Japan with all my heart, they must get their priorities straight. A friggin' development territory for the E? For what? To have their own talent underutilized and stereotyped on WWE television?

A revival of the puro-love is what they need. They really need to make Japan care for puro again. Raise their own talent and make them valuable, don't throw them at the WWE to have them portrayed as an asian stereotype or something. At least that's my opinion as someone who cares for puroresu and Japan...
