  • In the mean time, I recommend you check the following places: VPW2 Freem, AKI Outsiders or MPire Mall Discord servers. If you really don't like Discord, there is the r/N64WrestlingGames subreddit, but there's no active development of mods/hacks there. Sean O'Connor's Youtube Channel is also recommended.

here a tutorial how to mod matches loading screens on SVR 09 PSP ( but on similar way in other games) with
ARC UPDATED .

you need

XPERT2 tool
X-PACKER
HEX EDITOR
PUYO tool
a graphic tool for modding textures

open the iso of 09 with xpert2 iso plugin
and search match.pac inside
menu folder.
now with xpert dpac plugin open match pac.
you see a lot of files..
the loading matches textures are in the file with ending I
the numbers follow the arenas list..
exemple
M00I (smack)
M01I (raw)

extract the textures in file 59.bpe using X-packer
and convert gims to png with
puyo tool. now you can mod it as you want.

create a new texture archive with x -packer called 59.pac
and inject into the main file (exemple : M00I if you have modded smack arena)
now insert the main file inside match pac folder before opened with xpert2 and
rebuild the file /lba
ok..now we need to adjust ARC file..
open the NEW MATCH.pac with HEX editor
and search MENU..
now open another window with hex editor on
PLISTPSP.arc file and still search MENU..
ok..on this window delete from MENU to
M57F and 4 digits after (before YY)

now in the other hex editor window,
open on NEW MATCH.pac,
select from MENU to
M57F and 4 digits after
now PAST IT on PLISTPSP.arc and
save.
now delete old match.pac and rename NEW MATCH in match.pac
that's all..
you can rebuild the iso with XPERT2 and see your new loading screens with
ARC updated

NOTE: searching MENU on plistpsp.arc , be carefull to find the
right MENU ..i'm talkin'about where you see something as :
MENU^...MUPI....
using search option in hex editor is the fourth chance
