as I have a slow PC, I can prove that no configuration will take the lag of their games in pcsx2,I recommend you use the OPL (Open PS2 Loader) that you can share a folder on your PC to your PS2.
ie you put the folder on your isos and shares a network, PS2 version dependend, he will have a network input ago.

lusji2011 this is a great tut but I think most of the modders here use pcsx2 as an emulator because it provides more options than the original ps2
