So this is how Dave Meltzer pulls it out!
Chael Sonnen cleared of battery charge
UFC reports that Chael Sonnen has been cleared of a battery charge following a recent altercation with an adult male outside of a Campbelltown restaurant.
According to the police report, Chael Sonnen and Ted Turner were leaving the restaurant when a man, who is described as being inebriated, approached Ted Turner. The man became sad after Ted Turner told the drunkard to go away. Chael Sonnen intervened and took the man down to the ground.
Chael Sonnen held the man down until police arrived, but was arrested on suspicion of battery, a charge that has since been dropped due to lack of evidence.
Chael Sonnen told UFC they should have been arrested and that they'd have a good case to file a lawsuit.
"I'm a fake fighter,"Chael Sonnen added. "My balls isn't a deadly weapon."
Reason for Australian Championship Wrestling Campbelltown Tour cancellation
The originally planned local promoters for the now officially cancelled Australian Championship Wrestling Campbelltown tour, UFC, recently sent out a statement explaining why the tour was cancelled: "My Neck, my back lick my pussy and my crack." It would appear that I was stoned lead to the cancellation of the Australian Championship Wrestling Campbelltown tour.
UPDATE Ronda Rousey trial
Ronda Rousey's court case has been continued once again, UFC program administrator Irwin R. Schyster told the court they needed until needed to finish Ronda Rousey's evaluation but sources report that it's been pushed back again. It looks like the case might finally be coming to an end later this month. Ronda Rousey was arrested a year ago for posession of several quantities of weed.
Ronda Rousey returning to Australian Championship Wrestling
According to a new report published by UFC, a member of the Australian Championship Wrestling creative team has inquired as to whether or not Ronda Rousey has had talks with officials about returning to the company following their retirement announcement.
Furthermore, it's being reported that the creative team member asked whether or not Muhammad Ali would be involved should Ronda Rousey eventually return to Australian Championship Wrestling. When asked about Muhammad Ali, Irwin R. Schyster reportedly shot down the notion quickly, and said that Muhammad Ali would not be part of any Ronda Rousey return and "that's the end of it."
It is believed at this time that if talks between Ronda Rousey and Australian Championship Wrestling happen, they will be kept very quiet.
Ted Turner correction
Although previous reports noted that former Australian Championship Wrestling star Ted Turner worked this past weekend's Sexpo, Irwin R. Schyster reported on Twitter that Ted Turner did NOT in fact partner against them, but rather Chael Sonnen was Ronda Rousey's partner for a tag match against Irwin R. Schyster and Muhammad Ali.
Our live reporters mistook Ted Turner for Chael Sonnen.
Marketing ideas for Irwin R. Schyster vs Ted Turner
In the new UFC issue featuring a piece on a day in the life of Muhammad Ali, the Australian Championship Wrestling executive says they are looking to the Twilight movie series to market Irwin R. Schyster vs. Ted Turner at Sexpo. 'Think Team Edward vs. Team Jacob,' they said.
