Customised MENU.pac file freezing season mode?

I've taken a break from modding wrestlers and working on other areas of the game. Next was replacing selection pictures.

1st I edited and replaced them via hexing. All worked fine but season mode froze. Then I found kingpunks tutorial and using game graphic studio but after some testing, it's the MENU.pac file that is freezing my season mode and not any hexing that I've done as I tested with a clean iso, only replaced MENU.pac and it freezes.

Is there another custom MENU.pac that I can use or anyone know how I can get it to stop freezing so I can play season mode again?

u dont need any customized menu.pac i edited my default menu.pac in my hctp 2k15 patch it didnt even freeze for once.
i use the method of xpacker and expert tools to edit it and it works fine.

Interesting. How did you do it through xpacker though?

Only thought I needed a custom because of what I've read here.
