<table><tr><td>Daniels talks injury status

TNA wrestler Christopher Daniels was interviewed by the Dodge City Daily Globe for what is claimed to be the first major pro wrestling show in Dodge City, Kansas on Saturday. Daniels, who turns 41 this month, talked about trying to be an actor before a pro wrestler 20+years ago, his journey to ROH and TNA in the 2000s, balancing family and wrestling life, and his current physical condition.

"I wake up in pain pretty much every day. In my right leg, my ACL is gone, I have a broken bone in my neck, there's one ligament left in my shoulder, these are all injuries that I accumulated and they're never going to get better," Daniels said. Customary for interviews, Daniels did not say whether he's considering retirement and has said in recent interviews he feels like he can continue wrestling without worrying about retirement.

TDK's Take:

Geez why would anyone want to get into acting when they can stick around and have all this to look forward to? :p Seriously though, quality of life has to count for something, so I hardly blame him for wanting to avoid a lifetime of chronic pain.</td><td>

And you would never have thought Daniels would be suffering the way he is when wrestling.

He is a true workhorse.
