Ted DiBiase reportedly suffered a broken ankle during a match with Jinder Mahal on this week's Superstars. Even though he appeared to work the match without any apparent dificulties, the injury may have occurred when he jumped off the ropes shortly before the finish.
The initial tweets sounded encouraging: "Update: torn ligament and small break, but no torn tendon, which means no surgery!" DiBiase wrote on his Twitter page. "Again, thank you all for your encouragement."
Following that news however, DiBiase later announced that he will be undergoing surgery. Although his ankle won't require surgery, he has opted to have his shoulder repaired.
TDK's Take:
First the wrist, then the ankle and now this... If this keeps up they might have to start calling him 'Tough luck Ted.'
Question is: With DiBiase on the shelf, how will Superstars ever survive?
