<table><tr><td>Dixie Carter Announces Russo's Departure
TNA President Dixie Carter announced the following today:
"TNA and Vince Russo have mutually parted ways as of this week. The separation is amicable and professional. We are glad for the opportunity to have worked together and wish each other nothing but good luck and success in the future."
--- Long-time Vince Russo fan Jim Cornette, who challenged Russo to a fist fight over a year ago, responded to today's news of Vince Russo being ousted by TNA on his Twitter, writing, "Have I died?!?!?!"
As noted earlier, TNA President Dixie Carter officially announced today that the organization had parted ways with Russo, who first started with the company in 2002.</td><td>
The Former Guy</td></tr></table><table><tr><td>TDK's Take:
A lot of people thought his day would never come. Which is all the more amazing when you consider just how long TNA has been in a creative free fall. Which begs the question: What took so long?
But enough of the past, let's hope this marks a long sought turning point on the road to an improved product.</td></tr></table>
