Recently, Kenn Doane was went public with his criticisms of John Cena.
When news broke out that John Cena was divorcing his wife Liz, Doane took this as a sign that Cena's actions were finally coming back to haunt him. Doane claims that he was once close friends with Cena until the pair got into a fight about "something stupid". Doane was dismissed a few months later and found it difficult to get booked anywhere else. Doane has now retired from professional wrestling and is currently in a new career.
Some of Cena's fans have criticised Doane for revealing this information now when Cena is going through such a hard time. Here is what Doane had to say about this:

When I was there in November I was actually excited to talk with John and I wanted to bury this all. He walked by I put my hand out and said hey you got a minute? He didn't shake my hand and said “for you, absolutely not." So I was like "really OK John, that’s cool". So to all you people that disagree with me bringing this up now it's merely to clear my name of having a bad attitude. Another thing people claim my timing is bad on this and maybe you're right. John is going through a divorce right now and I really wish him and Liz a peaceful divorce. But if anyone of you lost your job, personal life and then got stuck with a bad reputation, you're gonna honestly say you wouldn't do the same thing? Let's get real people..
Doane competed as Kenny, the leader of the Spirit Squad, and as Kenny Dykstra. He was on 22 when he was released.
To the surprise of many, most of the comments that Doane has received have been complimentary. As he himself notes.

Thanks for tweets from positive to negative Nothing but positive from those in the 'biz' and in the know.
A lot of text messages saying all positive things. 'Goodjob, thank you, ect' stuff like so. And that's from WWE employees and non employees.
Doane's comments have been praised by many who have worked with, and currently work with, John Cena.

* Doane and Cena were friends up until the pair had a fight over "something stupid". Doane was then drafted to SmackDown to seperate him from Cena, and he jobbed until the end of his WWE career.
* While Doane was engaged to Mickie James, James engaged in a sexual affair with Cena. Doane found out when he caught James looking up rumours of the affair online. James admitted to it online.
* When Cena ended the sexual relationship with Mickie James, James took being dumped pretty hard. James would be drafted to SmackDown, and was buried on television. She was even humiliated in the infamous 'Piggy James' story line.
* Cena married his wife Liz only 2 months after ending his affair with Mickie James.
* Cena had a short relationship with a married Diva. When the relationship ended, the Diva was moved to SmackDown and was made 'enhancement talent' until she quit. A description that fits Victoria, coincidentally.
* Cena has had sex with a lot of Divas and wrestling fans... even after he got married.
* Cena petitioned Vince McMahon to fire Randy Orton when he failed his second and third drug tests*.
*Note: Randy Orton is currently serving a suspension for his Second Wellness Policy violation. Orton has made a "second violation" three times so far. Orton has failed FIVE drug tests since signing with WWE.
