EA To support current gen consoles through 2O17

During the Stifel 2013 Technology Conference on Tuesday, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said the firm plans to support current generation consoles until 2017. Gamespot reports the quote from the conference, which we’ve reported on quite a bit. During it Jorgensen talked about the possibility of a Star Wars: Battlefront game, developments on Wii U and how more games and information on all its titles will be revealed at E3.

And good. I never buy next gen consoles until like a year before current gen gets shut down.

I loved Battlefront 1 and 2 on PS2 and still to this day have a play on 2. I would love to see that game on current-gen consoles.
