El Generico Competes Without Mask At NXT Show

It would appear that the wrestler known as El Generico will be going forward without his popular character in WWE as he competed sans mask at tonight's NXT event. In his debut match last month for the organization, he sported the mask and attire.

El Generico+WWE=Comedic gimmick/Over as Fck with fans.
Rami+WWE-Everything that made him popular=FAIL!!

To quote CM Punk: "[Vince] is a millionaire who should be a billionaire"
If Vince stuck with the El Generico gimmick, the kids would love him and eat the gimmick up! But he chooses to remove the mask, get rid of the name, change the attire, everything that made Generico successful. We should see Rami in the unemployment line in like a year or so.

is it just me or dose he kinder look a bit like Seth green with out the mask?........................

it's nice to see wwe hiring some young prospects, but only time will tell how Generico will work out i really hope he can get a leg up in the wwe as he is a phenomenal talent

You can see very small similarities with Rami's Genericho attire to his new one, but tbh, Vince rarely sticks with people's original gimmicks. Also, its worth mentioning that it would have been cool to stick with his orginal gimmick as Rey Mysterio could be on his way out soon and Sin Cara is a flop, so a masked wrestler would have been welcomed.

Lets see how things go. If you are a good performer, you can get over with the crowd without that.
