Final Card for Sunday's WWE Night of Champions PPV, IC Title Match Official

WWE officially added Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase to the Night of Champions PPV following Smackdown.

Rhodes-DiBiase is the final title match added to the PPV headlined by a non-title match of Triple H vs. C.M. Punk. The following is the final line-up with seven matches announced.

I just don't know how to feel about this show. Sometimes I think that it could be really awful. And then there are times when I think it could be dire. As far as I am aware, I get the show for free here in the UK, so I may wind up watching it anyway.

Cody Rhodes vs Ted DiBiase, Jr. - I want to see it. I just hope that it isn't a short match. Both men have a technical wrestling style that seems to have almost died out in the WWE. This has the potential to become an exciting feud. I'm just a little dissappointed that they didn't emphasize DiBiase's resentment a bit more.

John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio - Simply not interested. Not because Cena is in it, but because they have buried Del Rio since he won the title. There is no way that Del Rio can win this match and look like a credible champion. He needs to start winning matches against main eventers while they are main-eventers. But if it sets up Del Rio and Punk, it could be a good direction. But I predict the worst, Cena winning by DQ and then beating Del Rio at Vengeance, so that he will be Champion when he teams with the Rock at Survivor Series.

Randy Orton vs Mark Henry - Matches like these are the reason why I am glad that I don't have to pay extra to see this show. Randy's matches have been a lot better lately, but that is largely because he has been against better quality opponents. Henry is not such a person. They have been building this guy for 13 years, and he still isn't credible.

Awesome Truth vs Air BOOM - This could be the surprise match of the night, but will likely be short. Both tag teams should have had a bigger build up, but they have done very well with the little TV time that they have had. And anything that delays the inevitable Air BOOM vs Swagger & Ziggler is fine by me. We have had enough Bourne vs Swagger and Kingston vs Ziggler for one decade.

Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix - This has the potential to be quite good. Just as long as they don't re-hash the Phoenix-Candice feud. But if Kelly does not win, she joins the growing list of paper champions who have held the title.

Swagger vs Ziggler vs Riley vs Morrison - I predict that this match would be great, but will have a screw-job finish involving Vickie. The ending will make the rest of the match seem poor.

Triple H vs CM Punk - This match WILL be ruined by the finish. If they don't bury either man, and let it be just between them, it will be match of the year candidate. But it WILL have a twist that ruins it.
