Fire Pro Wrestling coming to US psn next tues.

According to the Official PlayStation Blogcast, “Fire Pro Wrestling” will be available for purchase on the US PlayStation store next week as a ‘PS2 Classic’(4/23/2013). The announcement is made at the 12:00 mark in the podcast. While it is not specifically stated if this is Fire Pro Wrestling Z or Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, it is safe to assume that this will be the Agetec translated version of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns.

These games usually launch at $9.99, but the price has not actually been officially announced.

man that's awesome, I've never really played it as it wasn't released here. but have heard and seen some really cool things about the game. i hope they keep the downloading creations thingy the ps2 version had.

The only time I wish I had a PS3 is now to get that game but its cool I cant be mad it was a PS2 only release. So releasing the emulated version on PS3 is good for them but shows that even the modern ones can probably emulate PS2 games they just are dicks and excluded it.

Not true. There is NO PS2 emulation with the PS3 whatsoever. They are not emulated versions of the games at all.

Anyway, the game is out now on PSN.

They convert it (normal PS2 ISO) to the PS2Classic ISO(a bit different system from the normal).

Awesome,if I ever have a PS3 I would download it.

On a side note,I want these PS2 games to be ported to new consoles:

Smackdown SYM
Smackdown Here Comes the Pain
Smackdown vs Raw 2005 and 2006
Twisted Metal Head-On and Black

Thanks for the info if I had the money I would buy a PS3 for Fire Pro Wrestling but since I dont Ill just enjoy my Snes hacked english translated rom.
