<table><tr><td>Foley at WM28?

WWE part-timer Mick Foley, who is in the U.K. for a stand-up comedy tour, suggested to Sky Sports that he could have a role on the WrestleMania 28 PPV. The discussion occurred when the Sky Sports co-anchor asked point-blank what Foley will be doing at WrestleMania, working under the assumption Foley is already booked. Foley then "thought out loud" about some possible roles before transitioning to a plug for his WM28 raffle.

TDK's Take:

All I can say is please no... Mick's a good guy and all but I've grown really tired of seeing him come back time and again in a non-wrestling role. He should do us all a favor and write another book.</td><td>

It has to be a backstage role. I think Mick himself knows that he shouldn't risk another match. His last match was a crapfest with Ric Flair. But he can still say that he beat Ric Flair for his last match.

It took Foley far too long to recover from that one. It is time to let it go.

Yeah I agree with Rag! Mick in the late 00's was used merely to elevate talent such as Orton, Edge, and not used as a main attraction. He did what he had to do and did it well. Working with the younger talent has always benefited Mick as he has had to set himself a standard and work ethic to keep on par with them. His TNA run was a waste, and he would have been better used as a guy for backstage duties than looking like a comedic wrestler! His Rocky Balbao promo on iMPACT was funny, but it also showed how desperate the guy had become.

In WWE there is limits of how bad they will make your character look and Mick is close to royality there. Working behind the scenes would be a wise decision for both parties concerned. I love Mick, but his time has gone and he more than likely knows it!
