<table><tr><td>Foley Prefers PG To Attitude Era
WWE part-timer Mick Foley suggested in an interview that he prefers the current WWE era over his time during the Attitude Era. "The Attitude era was fun for different reasons, it was risque, but a lot was not appropriate for kids. The new style forces wrestlers to be creative and not rely on chair shots to get a pop," Foley told Patrick Lennon of the Daily Star. Foley added that the current era has allowed someone like C.M. Punk to develop his own style on promos. "Nothing seems forced. It is an art form that has been somewhat lost," Foley said.</td><td>
</td></tr></table><table><tr><td>Following his appearance in the Royal Rumble match last month, Mick Foley says his current WWE standing is "a need to know basis going forward." Foley says he would still "like to get involved in some way" leading to WrestleMania. "I can't wrestle very often any more," Foley told Patrick Lennon of the Daily Star newspaper. "Apart from the run-in, the Rumble was the perfect way to play to my remaining strengths and not expose my many weaknesses!"
TDK's Rant:
"The new style forces wrestlers to be creative and not rely on chair shots to get a pop..." Wow, what does that say about Mick's career? Did he actually mean to imply hardcore legends totally lack creativity? I'll give him honesty points for most of his other comments but this one seems pretty self damning...
